Um felagið

Vágs Bóltfelag varð stovnað 5. juni 1905. Seinastu meiri enn 100 árini hevur felagið skipað fótbólt og hondbólt og eitt tíðarskeið eisini flogbólt í Vági.

Í 2005 fóru Vágs Bóltfelag og Sumbiar Ítróttarfelag undir at skipa samstarv um fótbóltin í økinum. Síðan hetta hevur fótbólturin verið skipaður undir navninum VB/Sumba.

Seinastu árinin hava VB og VB/Sumba eisini samstarva við TB um ungdómsfótbóltin í oynni.

VB/Sumba is a football club that was founded in 2005. So it is a very young club but that is because it is a co-operation between two old clubs in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. The two clubs who decided to cooperate are VB (founded in 1905) and Sumba (founded in 1945).

Vágs Bóltfelag is a club from the village of Vágur with about 1400 inhabitants and Sumba is a club from the village of Sumba with about 250 inhabitants. These two villages are the most southern villages on Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands. Suðuroy is also the most southern of islands in the Faroe Islands with about 5.000 inhabitants.

The cooperation is for the teams playing in the older divisions.
